Amy is a Nashville native who started selling drawings in her front yard at age 8. With 18 years of graphic design, art direction and leadership experience, she lives in Minneapolis as a Creative Director with a focus on event, experiential and retail creative. She believes every problem can be solved with passion, hard work and a little bit of Southern charm. When she's not making something, you'll find her biking with her family or reading with her cat, Penny Lane.

The freelance name, design8days, comes from her favorite Beatles’ song, Eight Days a Week. Whether she’s in Mom or Work Mode (or somewhere in between), she thinks like a designer “eight days a week.”
